Milk Drop Coronet ミルクの滴の小冠

EDGERTON, Harold Eugene エジャートン, ハロルド・ユージン

EDGERTON was an electrical engineer known for inventing electronic-flash photography. In 1931, EDGERTON developed a high-speed strobe, and in high-speed photographs such as Death of a Light Bulb, he succeeded in capturing previously unseen phenomena that lasted less than a microsecond. He is also remembered for Milk Drop Coronet, a color photograph he took after World War II.
