While he continued to practice the style of portrait photography created by NOJIMA Yasuzo, this photographer also left us numerous works in his own distinctive style. In this portrait, he photographs his subject in a frontal pose, pressing close to allow the spirit to shine through. His expertise in bromoil printing rivaled that of Nojima, and his portraits have a strongly sculptural feeling.
