On the Point of Crossing the Ryogokubashi Bridge, They Ran into Hattori Ichiro, Shogun's Direct Retainer, Who Was on Patrol of the Streets. Hattori Persuaded the Retainers Not to Cross the Bridge and Told Them to Change the Route and Head toward Takanawa. Oishi Followed His Words and Crossed the Hitotsumebashi and Eitaibashi Bridges before Reaching the Sengakuji Temple. 義士の引揚は元禄十五年師走十五日未明にして今や両国橋を渡らんとしけるに公儀の旗本服部一郎市中巡察として此処に来掛り義士を諭して此橋を渡さず道をかへて高輪に行かしむ 大石其言に従ひ一ツ目橋より永代を渡りて泉岳寺に到る
