This series expresses Yamazaki’s thinking about photography most straightforwardly. Setting up his camera in a span of time when the sun is on the horizon, he captures the phenomenon of the light that occurred there as his photographic image. The film HELIOGRAPHY was created on the concept of capturing the movement of the sun, from sunset to sunrise, from the same location.
