This photograph, in which the form of the snow-covered branch evokes a strange, painting-like world, appears to have been shot from the second floor. If we look closely, it seems that snow is still falling. This was not, however, the case when the photograph was shot; it is, instead, an effect added by the artist during the bromoil printing process. This effect, only possible by using pigment printing processes, contributes to this work’s appeal.
