From the Moment of Recording, It Became Peeping 録画した瞬間それは覗きになった

TAKEUCHI Kota 竹内 公太

In this video work, From the Moment of Recording, It Became Peeping, TAKEUCHI Kota (1982- ), who is conjectured to have some sort of connection with the “pointing worker,” is seen at a computer on March 12 to 14, 2011 gathering information on the earthquake disaster. Takeuchi has said that, from the moment he clicked the record button, he absorbedly watched the conditions in the stricken areas, feeling prescribed by the correctness of behavior called for in times of disaster and, at the same time, feeling a strange tension, as if he were being watched by someone. That someone was perhaps we ourselves or future viewers of the video document, or maybe the“pointing worker.”
